My three year old absolutely loved this box. The sparkling sand, beautifully scented dough, wooden treasures, rollers and wave stone have all been played with almost daily since the box arrived. This was such a beautifully curated box that has provided hours of imaginative play.
The sparkling sand has been the deep sea, a sparkling lake, animal food and even rain. We’ve used it to create a sensory base for practicing mark making and letters, as well as small world play.
The little wooden treasures have been jellyfish, mushrooms, seats for fish (and people) as well as being used with the dough to create fun textures and flowers.
Summer rose scented dough has an absolutely divine smell that has captured the essence of summer. It’s been squished, rolled, created into food, flowers, ocean bases and jellyfish. This has to be one of my favourite scents and the deep blue colour fits the box brilliantly!
The wave stone has been great for adding texture, creating waves with the dough and for creating pencil rubbings of waves. The rollers pair brilliantly with the dough!
